![]() I'm hoping that their recent catalog (Resident Evil 2, DMCV, MHW) are a sign of things to come for their fighting games. I would just like to see Capcom climb back to a point where people are genuinely excited to play their fighting games again. When looking at the successes of MK11, DBFZ, and Tekken 7, what do you believe Capcom needs to do to bring that type of reception back to their games? As a fighting game fan, I'm happy that all of these games are doing well. Having said that, do you personally believe Capcom really only intends to roll with SFV until the inevitable release of SFVI? Or is there a possibility of something being released before that jump? Do you think SFV can be spiced up enough for the next few yrs to maintain interest in the game? This seems like the most logical reasoning against a new title. I feel like a Super version in the middle of the CPT seems unlikely, though.Īs the good man Neoxon always says, it's way too late for them to release a new fighting game with this gen ending soon. I'm not sure what to expect for this game. Some are speculating that a "Super Street Fighter V" is going to be announced at Evo with new mechanics, while there are others who believe we'll only see a few characters at the most. We're at a point where Street Fighter V appears to be nearing its end and many are questioning how Capcom plans to support the game till then. We know that the Street Fighter team has announcements planned for V, but aside from that, we have no idea about any projects they've been working on outside of Street Fighter. I've been wondering about Division 2 lately.
